Surgeons and faculty in our Sports Medicine Service serve as physicians for the professional sports teams in St. Louis including the St. Louis Rams Football, the St. Louis Blues Hockey and the St. Louis Aces Tennis teams. They bring the same skills to all athletes, whether professional or recreational.
In addition, four full-time research faculty members in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery are also actively involved in biomechanical and molecular biological orthopedic research and its clinical applications to orthopedic surgery and its subspecialties.
